Ergoflow was founded by Rayce Risch, a lifelong dancer, somatics instructor, movement coach, and stretch therapist who studied dance and kinesiology at the University of Texas at Austin. With a career dedicated to using dance and movement as a vehicle for transformation, Rayce saw a pressing need to create a method that truly addressed the challenges of modern life, something existing movement practices had overlooked. Jamie Gordon, Ergoflow’s lead practitioner, wellness coach, stretch therapist, and fitness expert, brought her own expertise from studying kinesiology and sports medicine at Brooklyn College. Both Rayce and Jamie are passionate health and fitness coaches who believe deeply in the mind body connection as a pillar of human well being. Their paths crossed while working as assisted stretching practitioners, where they were struck by how many people suffered from chronic pain and musculoskeletal issues brought on by sedentary work and the unrelenting stress of their jobs. Out of this realization, Ergoflow was born, a complete and holistic movement method designed exclusively to meet the demands of modern work and daily life, blending science, artistry, and somatics into a system that restores balance and resilience in today’s fast paced world.
